A Guest Lecture on the topic “Importance of cGMP in Pharmaceutical industries” organized by Yuvak Kalyan Sangh’s Vijayrao Naik College of Pharmacy, Shirval, Kankavli on 9thOctober 2024 at 4.00 pm- 5:00 pm. Invited Guest speaker,Ms.Pranali R. Pangam Mam, former Manufacturing Officer at Lupin Limited, Goa.
The program was inaugurated by the auspicious hand of the Chief Guest, Hon. Shri. Mandar Sawant Sir and we were also glad to have thepresence of Mr. A. U. Arvindekar Sir, Principal of Vijayrao Naik College of Pharmacy, Shirval-Kankavli.
Initially, Mr. Aga Aasim, Student representative Vijayrao Naik College of Pharmacy, Shirval, Kankavli welcomed on the occasion of a Guest Lecture, the resource person for the Guest lecture was,Ms.Pranali R. Pangam, Mam. She delivered his talk on significance of cGMP in Pharmaceutical Industries. She nicely elaborated on the topic as well as provided valuable information regarding GMP, or Current Good Manufacturing Practices, is a set of regulations enforced by regulatory agencies like the FDA, WHO, and other national authorities to ensure the production of high-quality pharmaceuticals.
Ms. Pangam emphasized that Key Principles of cGMP like Personnel Training, Quality Control and Assurance, Standard Operating Procedures, Facility Design. Theguest lecture was really useful and motivated for all the students and staff to gain more and more knowledge and inspirational thoughts.
After the questions and interaction session, we received good responses from the students, andthey gave very good feedback. The guest Lecture ended witha vote of thanks given by Mr. Amale L. S. TPO,thanked the resource person, managing trustee, principal, faculty member, and students for their active support in making program to be successful.
