The Cultural Department & National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of VijayraoNaik College of Pharmacy, Shirval-Kankavli actively celebrated the 78th Independence Day on 15th August 2024.
The program was started by hosting the National flag by the auspicious hand of the Managing Trustee Mr. Mandar Sawant followed by the National anthem. On this occasion, Principal Sir Mr. C. V. Babar, HOD A. S. Kulkarni, Teaching and non-teaching staff, NSS volunteers and students were present.
The program continued with a parade by the NSS unit. The further program in the auditorium presented cultural events like speeches, solo singing, group singing,dancing, and mime acts done by the D and B pharmacystudents.At the end of the program, Mr. Mandar sir encouraged all participants with handouts. The program was successfully carried out. Appreciation was extended to all participants by Ms. S. S. Bhokare (Cultural Incharge) and Mr. S. S. Kalyankar (NSS Program Officer). Refreshments were arranged by the college management to complement the program.
The cultural Incharge of D and Bpharmacy, the student council members & NSS volunteers made special efforts to make the program successful.
